The National Broadband Network (NBN) is a government initiative to ensure all Australians can choose high-speed broadband by 2021. The NBN is a wholesale-only network, which means NBN Co. does not sell directly to consumers. That’s where Telstra and other suppliers come in.
The NBN has started to make an appearance in a number of towns and suburbs. Many residential and commercial developments are in the process of getting the NBN now. Some areas such as Wollongong, Kiama, Dapto, Minnamurra etc. already have NBN available.
