About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, committed and engaged Level 1/2 Support Engineer to support, manage, develop and enhance our ICT and Managed Services and Solutions based out of our Wollongong office.

You will play a vital role in our business and take the complexity out of the technology decision making for our customers and bring a positive impact to their business.


The Successful Applicant will:

  • Provide remote and on-site IT support to both our managed services and ‘break-fix’ clients as per defined SLA's and response times
  • Provide support services using a range of tools including our RMM & PSA/CRM ticketing system as well as other 3rd-party tools and applications
  • Maintain service tickets and support documentation inline with company guidelines, workflows, policies and procedures
  • Configure, deploy and support IT equipment (PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, networking equipment etc.) both onsite and remotely Provide Level 1/2 administration of Cloud services including moves, adds, changes to existing IT environments and configurations
  • Liaise and escalate faults with internal Level 3 support, external vendors, providers and ISPs as required Work closely with other staff in the technical and service delivery team Assist with projects and installations when necessary.

  • Ideal Candidate must have:

  • Minimum 3 Years’ experience in a similar role supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting IT Networks and Cloud services
  • Ability to display sound troubleshooting & fault analysis skills
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server 2016+, MacOS, Cybersecurity applications, Cloud backup solutions
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 including Hosted Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive and Teams Sound knowledge of data networking including LAN, WAN, routers/firewalls, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs
  • Highly motivated and organised with a 'can-do' attitude and attention to detail to meet individual and team SLAs and milestones
  • Certificate or tertiary qualifications in Information Technology Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Strong focus on customer service Ability to work both independently and as a apart of a team

  • A current Australian driver’s license. Be professional, reliable, punctual, organised & well presented
  • Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills (fluent in English)

  • Ideal Candidate should have:

  • Experience with Datto: RMM, BCDR, Networking, SaaS Protect/Defence, ConnectWise PSA (Manage), Mobile operating systems (Android, iOS & iPadOS) and Intune MDM
  • Experience / Certification - Sophos Firewall and Endpoint
  • Microsoft MS-900 Certified
  • Past experience with cloud PBX solutions

    Data Cabler / Electrician / Security Technician

    About the Role

    We are looking for an energetic and engaged senior data cabler technician to play a vital role in our business to support, manage, develop, and enhance our ICT and Managed Services and Solutions.

    You will play a vital role in our business and take the complexity out of the technology decision making for our customers and bring a positive impact to their business.

    You will be installing and maintaining security and telecommunications cabling infrastructure and equipment in commercial premises.

    In addition to installation, this role involves identifying and addressing faults for service and maintenance jobs, testing, and repairing equipment, and providing timely updates and information to customers.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other members in the Technical and Service Delivery Team Installation of structured cabling systems including Cat6e/Cat6a, copper and Fibre Optic
  • Supervision of other team members as required.
  • Perform installation of equipment and components (e.g. cabling, CCTV, access control, wireless/microwave/satellite communications, routers/modems, switches, communications cabinets)
  • Respond to fault reports, perform trouble shooting activities and repair/replace malfunctioning equipment and/or facilities.
  • Ensures compliance with building and ICT Standards.
  • Deliver projects as per scope and within budget, SLA's and milestones including but not limited to onboarding new customers, obtaining technical requirements from customers, configuring, provisioning, testing voice and data carrier services)
  • Provide remote and onsite support to existing clients' Data, CCTV, access control & communications systems
  • Utilise internal PSA/CRM System (Connectwise), remote diagnostics tools and external 3rd-party systems via phone, remote support, e-mails and onsite
  • Report to Management and Key Stakeholders
  • This includes:

  • Security Installations including IP CCTV and Access Control
  • Alarm systems and intercoms
  • IP networks and network devices
  • Wi-Fi networks
  • IP & AV Conferencing Installations
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 Years experience in a similar role implementing structured cabling system, CCTV Installations and optical fibre networks.
  • ACMA Open Registered Cable license and sound experience within the telecommunications industry
  • Excellent troubleshooting & fault analysis, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and handle pressure situations
  • Highly motivated and organised with a 'Can-do' attitude and attention to detail to meet individual and team deadlines and milestones
  • Familiar with traditional LTS, Hikvision, DAS, Bosch security systems.
  • Installing, managing, and troubleshooting basic TDM/IP Tel & UC networks
  • Class 2 Security License
  • Knowledge of Data Networking including LAN, WAN, switches, routers/firewalls, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs
  • Strong focus on customer service Excellent communications skills and a consultative approach
  • The successful applicants will have:

  • A current NSW Driver's license
